Transparent Frog

Studies led by professor Masayuki Sumida at Hiroshima University’s has created a transparent frog whose internal organs are visible through its skin. The see-through frogs is helpful in studying diseases and the development of medical treatments as laboratory scientists can see the internal organs and blood vessels while the frogs are alive, without having to dissect them.
