90 Year Old Enagagement Ring Found

Stanley Cubiss drowned when his ship, the HMS Opal, sank during the First World War - January 12, 1918. This engraved engagement ring from fiancee, Florence, went down the sea with him.

In September this year, amateur divers on a routine dive around the Opal found a gold band perfectly preserved and engraved "To Stanley from Flo, March 1916".
