The Vienna Vegetable Orchestra, a unique ensemble which performs on instruments made of fresh vegetables, including those shown in the photo above, is scheduled to perform at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in the UK next week.
The orchestra was founded in 1998 and the 11 member group perform using celeriac bongos, carrot recorders and the multi-vegetable 'cucumberphone' playing contemporary to house, jazz to classical music.
