Farmers in Thailand are cashing in on the current craze - roasted bandicoot rat.

The roasted bandicoot rat has become a popular delicacy at roadside stalls despite costing twice as much as pork or chicken.

Approximately 100 people in Plai Nam village, in Suphan Buri province 120 km (80 miles) west of Bangkok have become full time rat catchers as it pays more than being a farmer.
