Lo Piccolo, the Palermo native, always seemed to be on the winning side of internal feuds, a talent that helped him become supreme boss in Palermo. As he wanted to control the entire island of Sicily, he expanded cooperation with U.S. gangsters, even the title of capo dei capi — the boss of bosses.
